Part of our vision when we started the farm was to offer people meals made with the food we farmed! After farming and offering meats to our community and as Amanda helped at her families’ restaurant (Sisters in Salem) we realized how difficult it is for restaurants to buy from local farms. The ease and reliability of large food companies take the amount of time and energy that goes into coordinating with small farmers. However, that doesn’t mean that it can’t be done! So, we are hosting seasonal farm-to-table dinners that work directly with farms and only use non-local ingredients (e.g. lemons, salt, etc.) to amplify what being grown right here in Upstate, SC.
