Callywood Farms eggs are from pasture-raised, heritage breed chickens. Our eggs are animal welfare approved and we are passionate about healthy and happy hens that produce nutritious, beautiful eggs that nourish you and your family. Our hens are free-range and cover a solid 5-acre area with their freedom. They have access to high quality pasture that we seed with beneficial grains for egg layers and we do supplement with a grain feed as needed.
Our laying flock consists of Ameraucanas, Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, and more!
We collect eggs every day, our eggs are very neat and clean, which helps reduce times needed to wash eggs. We rarely need to wash, but when we do we use only water. Our eggs are some times refrigerated, especially during Spring when we have so many! But if you are interested in un-refrigerated eggs, just let us know that’s your preference!
